Meet the Team

Our Sacred Heart Pre-School team provide care, support, and education to promote children's development. They create a safe and nurturing environment, plan and implement age-appropriate activities, engage with parents and families, observe and assess children's progress, and promote inclusion and diversity in their practice.

All of our staff have up to date Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid certificates and regularly complete relevant CPD to strengthen their practice. 

Chelsea Porter (Auntie Chelsea)

Co-Manager / Language Lead / DSL

Auntie Chelsea co-manages pre-school alongside Auntie Hannah. She has been a part of our pre-school family for eight years! Auntie Chelsea's key group is called 'Super Strawberries' 🍓

She has a full level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and a Level 6 BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies. 

Chelsea is also our settings Language Lead and one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL).

Hannah Curtis (Auntie Hannah)

Co-Manager / HSO / DSL

Auntie Hannah co-manages pre-school alongside Auntie Chelsea. She has been a part of our pre-school family for ten years! Auntie Hannah's key group is called 'Bright Bananas' 🍌

She has a full Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

Hannah is also one of our settings Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) and our Health and Safety Officer (HSO).

Clare Hansford (Auntie Clare)

Practitioner/SENCO

Auntie Clare is our Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) and has been a part of our pre-school family for over twenty years! Auntie Clare's key group is called 'Brilliant Blueberries' 🫐

She has a full NVQ Level 4 qualification in Early Years. 

 

Carly Heald (Auntie Carly)

Early Years Practitioner

Auntie Carly is an Early Years Practitioner. Auntie Carly's key group is called 'Terrific Tangerines' 🍊

She has a full Level 3 qualification in Early Years.  

Sam Turner (Auntie Sam)

Early Years Practitioner

Auntie Sam is an Early Years Practitioner. Auntie Sam's key group is called 'Cool Cucumbers' 🥒

She has a full Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
